Proto Jill and Bingo

My first attempts at drawing Jill and Bingo sometime in the 2010's? Maybe? Ugh, I'm not a huge fan of these ones, the colors are so muted and the lines are so thin. And those FACES. Bingo's poor HANDS. Why does he look like that???

If anyone in my growing cluster of OCs needed a facelift it was these two. I'm so much happier with their current designs.

Belmont

Working on some designs for Devin Belmont, Jill's best human friend and fellow college student who plays a large role in the Pleasantville story. I'm still trying to figure this guy out, I want him to look unassuming- the kind of guy who blends into the crowd, but I don't know. I haven't been very happy with my latest attempts at drawing him.

Devin has known Jill for most of his life, their parents were friends and they got along great at the cost of everyone imaginable making jokes about them dating- which makes them groan, they have no interest in dating each other. While college life and personal matters have gotten pretty hectic the two still find time to hang out, especially after Jill's life took such a sudden, tragic, turn. And then, suddenly, she moved away without telling anyone. Devin is trying his hardest to respect her decision and be supportive but a part of him worries that she's not giving herself enough time to slow down and mourn her mother's death.

The Belmont name isn't just a fun lil nod to the Castlevania franchise but also serves as a clue to this man's secret double life.
