About Me
I'm just a 30 something, nonbinary, dude out in Chicago who spends most of their time writing, drawing, gaming, and dealing with life one day at a time (the horrors persist, but so do I). You know, super exciting adult stuff during a concerning period of time where everything sucks forever and nobody knows how it will all end. Right now I'm juggling a part time job, sorting out ideas for my personal projects, getting lost in my pipe dreams, and saving up my money so I can maybe move in with my boyfriend a few states over.
After seeing my main art hub (Deviant Art) burst into flames and implode on itself and then seeing the other site I planned to throwing art on (tumblr) also combust over night, I took the advice of a random blog post and decided to come to Neocities (which might also be going down the same path because, damn, this hip new AI thing everyone is throwing money at has to be profitable for someone...right?). I quite like it here, ever since making Neocities my new art hub I've been shocked to see just how interesting people find my characters and yap sessions. Hopefully, this will be my permanet spot for expression and forcing the world to read my sleep deprived ramblings but we'll just have to see what the future holds.
I like to draw little guys, dragons, monsters, and work on character designs. I also like to tell stories during my free time and I've got three projects in the works that I never shut up about; a lot of my characters/plots often revolve around events from my own life so you might see me retread a few tropes here and there with an asexual/gender queer main who deals with mental health and coping with some kind of family induced trauma. I also like discovering new music, reading books and webcomics, and playing all kinds of video games.
