"Moonie, what the hell am I looking at?"

Um...I can explain...

So back in my Deviant Art days I followed an artist named CoffeeSnake (I adore his art btw; the colors, his character designs, the fact he has mastered MS Paint in ways I can only ever dream of achieving. Very good stuff.) who had this reoccurring little creature simply known as "Thomas the Tank Ham". It was a ham joint with Thomas the Tank Engine's empty smiling face and their presence unnerved many commenters. They just stood there, menacingly, and everyone hated it (affectionately). I loved this little dude though and ended up making my own Ham inspired abomination in my mid 20s- a lanky, ghoulish, figure who was nothing but skin and bones...and also had the Thomas face.

And it got the expected reaction.

I specifically remember drawing it when I was doing a bunch of temp work and I ended up tormenting my poor coworker with his emaciated form, gnarled fingers, and ever cheerful smile. I told CoffeeSnake about it, he approved of my use of free will.

But it's been ages since the last time I've ever thought about drawing him and then suddenly I got this...odd itch to draw them again. Like he wanted to be set free and be known to a new generation of unsuspecting web surfers.

So yeah, that's his deal. He's here now. Enjoy.
